Position Overview
Skillsoft is currently looking at hiring Ambitious and Goal Driven Customer Sales Directors to strengthen its Inside Sales Business in India. Upon selection, incumbents will embark upon a rewarding career as “Hunters”; who will be responsible to bring in the new business. They will walk prospective clients through the entire sales cycle beginning with Cold Calling, Prospecting and Concluding with a customized business solution (s) by adopting “Consultative Sales methodology”. The ultimate goal of this position is to broaden the Skillsoft customer base and develop long term NNNB [ Net New Business] relationships in the Indian Market.

Position Key Responsibilities

 

Ø  Identifies opportunities with potential customer accounts

Ø  Adopts consultative selling style

Ø  Works with the sales organization in the development of account research, assignments, and analysis

Ø  Account Mapping and Liaisons with the key stake holders of prospective corporate accounts

Ø   Product demonstrations,

Ø  Aligns self to the organizational goals, Responsible for managing deadlines, and monitoring and summarizing progress of account penetration

Ø  Prepares and projects accurate sales forecast

Ø  Puts to use his/her professional selling expertise and business acumen to meet and exceed sales targets

 

Desired Skills And Experience

ü  5-7 years of Solution Selling Expertise

ü  Smart, should be able to engage clients into conversations

ü  Strong Business Communication Skills

ü  Should be extremely comfortable selling over the phone

ü  Great email etiquette

ü  Analytically sound

ü  “Sales consultant” and NOT Sales Executive

ü  Experience with cold calling, Business Development and Account management

ü  Should have knowledge of MS Office ( Excel, Word and Power Point)

ü  Good presentation skills

ü  Familiarity with Sales Force usage is desired but not must

ü  Strong account penetration, mapping, Objection handling and Negotiation skills are a MUST

ü  Should be able to manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure the assigned revenue goals are met or exceeded from time to time

 

Education
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
