The PMO at SumTotal is a team that manages key aspects of Process Governance & Operations for the Global Professional Services business unit. Activities under the purview of this team include aspects like Reporting, Analytics, Ownership & Maintenance of CRM systems, and providing business process support for the business unit. The team also provides support to the Leadership team, to run key Projects & Initiatives. The team’s key focus areas are:
Scope and Execute projects/programs aimed at garnering Process Efficiency and overall profitability
Process reviews and auditing
On-going Business Process Improvement
Data Analytics & Reporting
Providing strategic & tactical support to the BUs
Ownership & Maintenance of CRM systems & ensuring data accuracy
Responsibilities
The Analyst – PMO should be able to:
Own and manage complex programs and projects.
Work with all the stakeholders to define and execute the project/program.
Deliver cross-functional process improvements on time and on budget
Work on reports & analysis as required/requested by the Management teams as well as own and manage the regular reporting/audit practice.
Translate data into meaningful analysis and insightful presentations, for Leadership teams
Establish high levels of transparency, accuracy and diligence in all aspects of delivery.
Own, follow-up and resolve issues with limited day-to-day supervision.
Skills/Requirements
We are looking for experienced professionals who have shown considerable success in managing global projects and programs, especially in the areas of Process re-engineering and Efficiency building. Experience in working with reports and complex analysis for Senior Management is another pre-requisite for this role. The skill sets that we are looking for include:
Proven experience in managing multiple & diverse projects/programs across a global organization.
Knowledge of functions like Professional Services, Customer Support, Cloud Operations, etc. in an IT Software company is an essential pre-requisite.
Experience in using and administering a PSA will be an advantage. Experience in using NetSuite OpenAir & MS Project Server is a significant advantage.
Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies
Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, LEAN, etc. will be a definite advantage and good to possess.
Prior experience of handling reporting using large and disparate data sets and CRMs.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Projects, etc.)
Excellent Oral and Written communication.
Possesses skills like organization, presentation and customer service skills
Attention to detail.
Willingness to be flexible and work across various time zones as needed by the business.
Education, Training and Minimum Qualifications
Qualification: Post Graduates or Graduates, preferably in streams like – Math/Statistics/Business Management.
Experience: 3- 5 years, preferably with exposure to Project Management in an MNC IT Software company
Skills Required: Strong & Proven Project Management Skills. Proficiency in methodologies like Six Sigma, LEAN, etc. and Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2
Additional Skills Required: Exposure to CRM systems like Salesforce.com, NetSuite OpenAir, MS Project Server, Peoplesoft etc. with emphasis on data extraction, data scrubbing, reporting & analysis.
Special Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel (complex formulae, macros, functions) is highly desired.
