Job Description

Skillsoft is seeking a motivated Network Administrator professional to assist with the implementation and management of all aspects of our network infrastructure and services.

 

Job Responsibilities

Maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure

Create, update and maintain network documentation

Network monitoring and notification

Support and troubleshoot network, application and hardware issues

Configure, maintain and administer the following: Cisco routers, layer 2/3 Cisco switches, Cisco IDS’s,

Cisco WSA’s, Checkpoint firewalls including VPN, Sourcefire IDS infrastructure, F5 technology including LTM,GTM,ASM, Ciscoworks and other network related applications

 

Job Requirements

Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Minimum 1-3 year’s experience in the networking field

Understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, subnetting and routing

Understanding of LAN/WAN fundamentals

Experience installing and configuring routers, switches

Knowledge of firewalls

Understanding of LAN/WAN fundamentals

Knowledge of load balancing technology

Understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, subnetting and routing

Experience supporting 7x24 environments for Global 1000 customers is a strong asset

Working Hours                         40 hours per week & on-call responsibilities
