About the Role:
The Consultant – Functional is responsible for delivery of consulting/implementation services to customers and for defining, improving, and driving best practices across the APAC practice.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Focus on business requirements gathering, functional solutions and testing

Conduct business requirement analysis and gap analysis.

Develop and recommend solutions and strategies for functional solutions based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing business workflow.

Identify and recommend solutions to meet client business requirements.
-
Facilitate business process and configuration workshops.
-
Work with the SumTotal Engagement Manager to define optimum project delivery strategy and plan.
-
Provide engagement and technical leadership to the client as well as the cross-functional team.

Work with internal groups to define, deliver, and assist with post-implementation issues.

Work with Analyst for documents creation and project tasks

Can lead a configuration workshop and Deliver Admin Training
-
Can consult on in depth functionality, SumTotal and industry best practices
-
Ability to effectively delegate tasks to Analyst for increase in efficiency on completing tasks and expedite learning and development of Analyst
-
Internal-facing effort to ensure best practices (approximately 20% of the role)

Meet utilization requirements and other KPIs related to individual and practice performance

No direct reporting responsibilities
-
Approximately 50% travel.
Skills & Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.

5-7 years consulting experience in the HCM space
-
More than 2 years consulting experience in medium/large scale projects

Ability to project confidence to help customers make right decisions, utilizing the SumTotal and industry best practices.
