About this role
The Senior UX Designer is primarily responsible for creating navigation workflows and architecture information designs, as well as constructing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate designs to product management and development. This role depends greatly on user-centered design research and usability testing to guide their designs. The candidate will possess the ability to create visual designs for desktop and mobile software and transactional Web sites.

Key responsibilities
• End to end user experience design process by developing user journeys, workflows, wire frames, visual mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Work with usability research specialists to conduct customer studies of mockups, prototypes and existing interfaces and iterate designs based on usability test results
• Produce final user interface designs, adhering to the style and guidance our Component Library and established pattern system.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to with detailed spec sheets and guidelines to ensure pixel-perfect designs.
• Be a champion of user-centered design principles and advocate for the user promoting user experience throughout the company

Experience
• 5+ years of experience in user interface design, web design, information architecture or usability testing within a consultative or corporate environment
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle within an agile environment
• Understanding of design fundamentals including information design, visual design, industry UI standards for desktop, mobile and web-based applications, and ease of use best practices
• Experience building personas, user task flows, creating wire frames, visual design concepts and hi-fidelity prototypes.
• Detail oriented self-starter with strong written and oral skills able to effectively communicate ideas and present solutions to executives and other stakeholders
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, XD, Sketch, and Invision.
• Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications

Education
•Degree in human computer interaction, visual design, computer science or equivalent
•Must have portfolio available for review
