Position Overview
Skillsoft is currently seeking a career minded professional to be instrumental in developing and delivering just in time training while being committed to operational excellence.
Position Responsibilities
-Develop, plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive new hire sales, product, process training
-Develop, plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive ongoing training to Global Business Development team (North America, EMEA, APJ)
-Create and maintain a set of online resources for on-demand access
-Assessment of training needs and solution development
-Recognize learning opportunities and develop/deliver training to affect performance
-Active participation in regular sales meetings
-Lead and/or participate in project teams as required
Desired Skills and Experience
-A proven track record in sales with demonstrated excellence in the areas of training, coaching, and development
-Experience in managing customer relationships and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment
-A thorough understanding of the components of the sales cycle
-3-5 years of successful sales experience; sales experience in e-learning or technology oriented field is considered an asset
-Proficiency with instructional design concepts/tools and LMS administration would be considered an asset
-In depth knowledge of salesforce functionality in addition to high level of knowledge on Skillsoft product offerings would be considered an asset
-Formal understanding of Insight Selling – Challenger Sales Methodology
-Ability to learn new software applications and then train others
-A demonstrated commitment to integrity, accountability, and sales excellence
-Strong relationship-building and consulting skills
-Operates with a sense of urgency and has a positive and professional attitude
-Excellent written/verbal communication skills
-Ability to apply business and industry knowledge to training decisions and solutions
-A desire to take the next step in an already successful career
-Self-motivation and perseverance

Education and Certifications
