Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Go-To-Market team.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for all print, internet and interactive designs, including branding, typography, visual concept, logo and icon design. The Graphic Designer will be expected to effectively communicate and coordinate with the marketing leadership team, marketing managers, web developers, sales and other key stakeholders globally to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message and functions successfully according to varying technical and performance specifications. The candidate must be capable of leading the creative aspects of a project and demonstrate strong business acumen and project management skills to ensure consistent, on-time delivery.
Position Responsibilities
Collaboration, Project Management and Archival - Collaborate with team members and be responsible for managing all design projects through to completion within approved branding guidelines, from initial conception, production, and announcement to organized/structure archiving of files
Meet daily production deadlines; manage multiple projects simultaneously
Manage and catalog approved brand-appropriate images via a SharePoint database
Publish and maintain organization of final source files and PDF’s to share for global use
Design across the following media types: internet, responsive emails, static banners, brochures, data sheets, case studies, white papers, posters, print advertisements, event program guides, PowerPoint presentations, social media, etc.
Uphold the brand standard of all brands within the company
Work with outside vendors as needed

3-5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a corporate and/or agency creative environment
Strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including a solid background in print, branding, typography, and also internet design experience
Comfortable working with outside product vendors and creative agencies
Understanding of and experience with corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media
Ability to create superior, original designs for print and internet with a solid understanding of deliverables, and be responsible for delivery of projects deadlines
Self-driven, proactive and a team player; successfully manage time and ability to prioritize projects and schedule in order to juggle multiple tasks and meet strict and sometimes aggressive deadlines
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with other members of the go-to-market team and effectively communicate ideas
Receptive to design critique as well as being confident in own design
Fluent in current graphic design practices and print/internet production software, specifically in the following: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook) on both Apple Macintosh OS X and Microsoft Windows
Experience with HTML, Exact Target is a plus.
Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies with coding applies to web design
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, graphic design, or a related field
