Skillsoft is growing in the North American market and we are searching for a Pricing Analyst to join our Sales Operations team in Nashua.
To be successful in this highly visible role the Pricing Analyst must enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, be able to provide excellent customer service, possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box and be creative and strategic when crafting deals while adhering to the pricing and finance rules and guidelines.
This position reports to the Pricing Team Lead and will directly support the Regional and Area Vice Presidents across North America.
The Pricing Analyst will support 5+ sales regions spanning across 2 businesses and 8 markets.
The Pricing Analyst will also be responsible for all pricing support to include strategizing with the Customer Sales Directors, providing detailed pricing and discount metrics to the Area and Regional Vice Presidents on a monthly and quarterly basis and proactively reviewing and mapping strategy for quarterly account renewals.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Create pricing models using the online pricing app while keeping the model in line with the supporting pricing guidelines
Provide pricing recommendations, analyze data, and perform all necessary analyses to support recommendations
Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on regional trends
Manage the contract request process: reviewing request to ensure it is within finance and pricing guidelines, obtaining approvals, capturing all details to ensure the contract is written accurately and within the finance/revenue guidelines
Responsible for understanding the process flow and integration of the pricing system (quoting tool), contract system (Apttus), Salesforce and PeopleSoft
Work on ad hoc and special projects as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience:
3 years of experience performing pricing & internal customer service related activities
Direct experience supporting high-level sales and operations executives.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing team oriented environment
Strong project and time management skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary
