Job Description
Skillsoft is growing in the EMEA market and we are searching for a Sales Operations Manager. To be successful in this newly created and highly visible role you must be a person who enjoys creating and driving process improvements and scalability, who is passionate about understanding the deals and performance of a sales region and who is capable of managing both a direct and a matrixed team.
While this position reports to the Director of Sales Operations, you will directly support the VP / General Manager of EMEA sales. In addition, you will support international planning activities for our India and APAC markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales operations support, including territory design and quota setting, forecasting, deal and pricing support, and managing and implement key initiatives and process rollouts.

Position Responsibilities

Own local development of account plan, territory models and development of sales quotas. Work globally on the design of sales compensation plans that drive growth.

Manage international pricing and operations analysts in support of deal approval and operations reporting.

Establish process and governance to ensure line of sight to sales and go to market initiatives including adoption of Salesforce.com, Pipeline growth, and account planning activities.

Represent local teams on corporate programs including sales and marketing systems governance and systems prioritization.

Recommend and implement changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.

Prepare sales forecasts and performance analytics to evaluate current sales goals and achievement.

Work on ad hoc and special projects as needed. Serve as a key point of contact to the EMEA and international sales management team.

Desired Skills and Experience

5 years of experience performing sales operation related activities with at least 2 years serving in a supervisory capacity.

Demonstrable experience leveraging Salesforce.com and supporting technologies

Direct experience supporting high-level sales and operations executives

Analytical thinking with clear talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.

Show Initiative and ability to recognizes opportunities and initiate actions to capitalize on them; look for new and productive ways to make an impact

Advanced Excel skills as well as experience building and using advanced analytics (Tableau, Wave, Business Objects and/or similar technologies.)

Strong written and oral communication skills


Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred
