The Junior Project Designer will be responsible for supporting the full life cycle of new projects from concept to operation. As part of the business development design team, the Junior Project Designer will assist in collaboration with external consultants, internal design projects and design consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
Design
- Work with USHG’s business development design team to help create , draft and document design projects
- Support and assist design and development of new and existing concepts
- Push boundaries of innovation in design while adhering to applicable codes, ordinances and regulations
- Understand and evaluate detailed drawing sets and schedules
- Create and deliver professional design presentations and document sets
- Develop and maintain organization practices for project files
- Develop and maintain organization practices for libraries
- Observe and support client meetings
Project Management
- Assist in design and construction critical paths
- Collaborate with design team to ensure deliverables are being met on schedule
- Assist with internal and external USHG projects and initiatives as assigned
- Assist in RFI and RFP responses

- Professional degree in interior design or Architecture
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- AutoCAD, v-ray, Rhino, Adobe suite, sketch up, Revit is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills, full English spoken and written
- Strong conceptual & design skills
- Ability to develop design options
- Ability to create, develop and edit drawings and models
- Organizational skills, collaborative skills and ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to take constructive guidance
- Portfolio required
- Flexible and open attitude
