Job Description
Position Overview

The Payroll Specialist, who will report to the Global Payroll Manager, will be responsible for addressing payroll inquiries and process the SumTotal international entities as required as well as other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have an acute attention to detail, and ability to research and analyze issues to the point of resolution. The ability to work on individual projects is essential.

Position Responsibilities

• The monthly processing of the payroll for SumTotal EMEA and APAC
• Responsible for addressing questions related to International Payroll (EMEA & APAC)
• Liaise with various HR departments, Payroll in Nashua and the various ADP vendors to resolve issues or queries that arise
• Accurate and prompt entry of employee data into Payroll System. This includes, but not limited to: Business Unit, salary, employee banking details, correct spelling of employee name, addresses, zip codes, and country.
• Carry out and continually review internal audit checks and respond to audit requirements when necessary.
• Performs a variety of routine office/clerical duties such as filing, coding, scanning, and typing.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Work with and be back up for the Skillsoft EMEA and APAC Payroll Specialist

Special Projects

• Develop detailed lists of current procedures with information to assist with the anticipated payroll conversion
• Confirm that all payroll reports needed for future audits are in our possession, and request any we don’t have before we change payroll systems
• Analyze the new system in the conversion from ADP Streamline
• Convert/develop detailed check off lists of new procedures after/during the conversion
• Make changes to processes in accordance with the GDPR, Global Data Protection Regulation
• Comply with quarterly/yearly audits and filings in a timely manner
• Create a documentation “manual” of all payroll forms, logins and processes by country and keep updated
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
