Position Overview

Skillsoft is currently seeking a Director, Sales Operations-Automation. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for scaling our global sales and operations teams leveraging their best-in-class technology, business process and project management skills. Reporting directly to the SVP, Global Sales Operations this person will lead and project manage process changes as well as global automation initiatives, including change management and adoption of Skillsoft’s sales tool ecosystem. Further, this position ensures the data integration and collaboration between cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales and Finance. They will function as an architectural and technical lead as well as a strong business and process analyst. They will help create and drive roadmaps to establish a world class operations infrastructure and will participate in the global SFDC governance committee.

Position Responsibilities

Ensure effective and efficient use of including administration, user setup, and adoption.

Manage user administration and adoption of other sales enablement applications.

Project manage cross-functional initiatives including the enhancement to current applications and process as well as vendor management and software selection.

Responsible for account, opportunity and contact data including data quality and cleansing, creation and indexing, and territory moves and automation.

Directly enable forecasting and territory work processes supporting the global sales organization.

Process user requests and tickets; identify root causes and work to reduce ticket volume and to scale response time.

Ensure full adoption of SFDC as well as supporting applications by user base.

Act as primary liaison with our Business Applications team; represent sales and global sales operations on the sales application Governance team.

Manage a team of administrators and sales support analysts.

Desired Skills and Experience

10 years relevant experience integrating and supporting sales business processes.

5+ years managing user experience and adoption in and surrounding applications; deep understanding of the SFDC application model, architecture and data structures.

Demonstrable knowledge of sales business processes including forecasting, territory and quota setting, and lead to order funnels.

Experience implementing and administering sales support and/or BI systems such as Varicent, Xactly, Marketo, Anaplan, Wave, Business Objects, and similar systems.

Knowledge of Financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle and Hyperion preferred.

Previous experience as a sales operations lead or manager.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

PMP certification and knowledge of the software development lifecycle highly desired.
