JOB BRIEF
Position requires strong communications skills, project management skills, and an excellent technical background in application development. Must be able to effectively manage a group of cross-functional technical resources ranging in experience from junior to senior levels. Candidate must demonstrate a history of technical experience working with various enterprise applications. Responsibile for providing roll-up reporting to senior management on the projects underway within their team, and will participate in developing the long-term application vision for TMS.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *
Strong organization skills associated with the management of individuals working on application related projects, specifically including:
• Ability to effectively manage group of junior to senior level technical resources
• Ability to effectively communicate status reports to senior management
• Ability to contribute to and implement team wide process improvements
• Participate in architectural decisions for company wide strategies
• Strong experience working with development teams on the interaction of custom-developed software into major enterprise applications
• Strong experience working with database technologies, including Oracle and SQL Server
• Strong experience working with the business units as part of a project team in identifying the most optimal applications to solve a problems
• Ability to work with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity teams on the development, definition, delivery, and testing of the fail-over capabilities of the application infrastructures that you design and support
• Ability to effectively present and communicate the application infrastructure of a particular system to the platform team.
