Union Square Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Desk Host Intern to join the team!

 

Our Home Office is made up of many areas of focus and includes People & Culture, IT, Accounting & Finance, Operations, PR & Marketing, New Business Development, Legal and Executive Leadership. We all rely heavily on cross-departmental collaboration in order to achieve success and allow our businesses to perform even better, with an opportunity to create a great first impression through the Home Office welcome.  This role will serve as a crucial “dot collector and connector.”  This person regularly collaborates with Home Office team and drives the front door and office experience, with a particular focus on participants for internal and external Learning & Development programming.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring the Home Office workplace is an organized, clean and efficiently run place to work
  • ‘Own’ the front door experience in a way that is consistent with high expectations for making all guests and Home Office team members feel welcome
  • Contribute to general office administrative functions

Requirements and Skills:

  • Multi-tasking
  • Problem solving
  • Initiative & follow through
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent Understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
  • At least one year experience in hospitality/food/restaurant related industry
  • Passion and interest for service and hospitality
  • Bachelor’s Degree  

Additional Details:

  • Compensation - $15 - $19/hour, based on experience
  • Duration - 3 months
  • Schedule - M-F, 25 hours per week
