Position Overview
Skillsoft is currently seeking an Inside Sales Manager to develop and coach a team of Inside Sales Consultants.
Position Responsibilities
Coaching, mentoring, motivating Inside Sales Consultants, in doing so generating revenue opportunities for the inside sales organizations
Assist in the recruiting, staffing and training to grow and maintain a sales team
Formulate and execute on quarterly sales plans
Assist Sales Consultants with client meetings, presentations and negotiations
Inspire, lead and coach a dynamic fast paced sales team
Coach and provide feedback to sales consultants in the areas of sales/personal development, direction and focus
Conduct weekly forecast review and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative
Manage productivity, funnel of opportunities and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards
Ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of these
Assist in managing programs to achieve target goals for team and individual representatives
Work with Fortune 500-5000 accounts
Ability to work flexible hours required
Desired Skills and Experience
Must be a team player
Excellent communications and leadership skills
3-5 years successful sales experience
1-3 years successful sales management experience, preferably leading a team dedicated to business development
Experience selling in the technology field required
Success in building, growing and managing highly prolific sales team
Familiarity with technology based training software
Familiarity with MS Office and database applications
Customer Focused – personally demonstrated that both external and internal customers are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner
