Position Overview
The Marketing and Sales Support Associate is a critical role within our team focused on supporting demand generation, marketing and inside sales efforts. This role will execute on existing programs and tactical items as well as create, plan and deliver on new initiatives. Working closely with our inside sales and marketing departments, the position will require day to day interaction with a variety of stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing needs analysis to determine how Skillsoft solutions will address prospect needs, identify key buying influencers within these prospects and establish Skillsoft as the market leader in learning.
Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up in order to advance opportunities through the sales funnel and build brand awareness.
Work closely with management to develop and grow the sales pipeline
Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged and providing information that is accurate and complete.
Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards for management.
Support lead generation, marketing, and inside sales in creating, supporting and executing on numerous lead generation and demand generation campaigns
Work closely with marketing on messaging, tools and strategy to ensure goals and objectives of the lead generation and sales teams are supported
Provide qualitative feedback on successes of campaigns, leads, sales, etc. to varied stakeholders
Develop and implement a lead nurturing process
Demonstrate an expert level understanding of CRM and marketing automation tools.
Complete administrative tasks per the position; including word processing, filing, messaging, tracking, documenting telephone service etc.

Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience in a Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, or Lead Generation role
Experience creating, executing and supporting marketing and demand generation campaigns, ideally in the learning industry
Experience using Salesforce.com from campaigns to reporting and understanding of marketing automation systems
Proven track record of hands-on experience managing lead generation activities
Demonstrated passion for data and metrics with an ability to strategically interpret and develop recommendations
A self-starter with outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), who is also a great listener
Ability to work within multiple teams supporting multiple stake holders as well as work individually
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Certifications
Post-secondary education in Business, Communication or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Travel Limited International
Working Hours 40 hours per week
