Union Square Hospitality Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at Union Square Events!

 

The Warehouse Supervisor will assist and provide support to push out and receive all daily deliveries within the scheduled work shift. This position acts a bridge to all culinary staff, event staff, and venue staff for delivery and pick up. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures safe, accurate, and efficient storage for all USE inventory.  This position assists with the inventory of all supplies being delivered to and from 640 West 28th street.  This position will assist as a Steward or Receiver when necessary, as well as assist the Operations and Events department with various projects. The Warehouse Supervisor must exemplify Enlightened Hospitality in all interactions with our staff, guests, vendors and the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy, quality and continuity of our day-to-day operations by maintaining essential operating systems.
  • Improve the operation of the USE physical plant by implementing efficiencies and cost saving measures with the goal of saving capital, minimizing down time and reducing operating expenses.
  • Provide the Catering Sales team and all USE Venues with daily operational support.Continuously build a high performance team.
  • Ensure rigorous knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, policies and procedures.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CaterXpert, IMS Software and FileMaker
  • 3 years of Warehouse ExperienceAbility to communicate effectively in English, fluency in Spanish a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • CDL Driver’s License preferred, but not required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
