About the Role:

We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Program Manager/Project Manager to join our Software Engineering Team. This role involves process management, external vendor interactions, release deliveries and project management. Ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define his or her success. The Program Manger III works on projects of diverse scope and must be able to work independently with general guidance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Understand the business requirements and drivers of the project/tickets.

·         Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

·         Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

·         Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.

·         Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

·         Track project milestones and deliverables. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

·         Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

·         Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

·         Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations when necessary.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

·         Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

·         Ability to conduct research into project-related issues and products.

Requirements:Bachelor’s in a Business or Technical related field (Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, etc.).

·         6-7 years of experience in a Project Management or PMO role.

·         Must have experience with Microsoft Project, Excel and other reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and/or Scrum methodologies
  • Must be a good team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have a proven track record of managing several projects simultaneously and keeping on track.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
