Job Description

Primary Function

• To work with project teams, project manager and Director and assist in the day to day running of the projects.

• Regularly handling face to face resource, timing, quality and reporting conversations with teams in Hyderabad and senior management and peers in order to deliver on the accountability and reporting aspects of the role.

• All reporting is accurate and timely, with all risks and issues identified and appropriate resolution strategies developed and implemented.

• Work with external and internal contractors, consultants, projects, project teams, and managing the quality and timeliness of outputs.

• Accountable for content production reports and production status across projects.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Creation and production of various executive reports , and analyze data to ensure an accurate and meaningful consolidated global view on a weekly and monthly basis

• Work with project managers and team leads as required to help project manage certain aspects of key projects / track delivery status to ensure key projects remain on track and have the right level of transparency to the stakeholders

• Responsible for enforcing standards and guidelines, adherence including tracking of project artefacts to ensure key projects are following core requirements and audit processes.

• Identify and drive out improvements in process for the areas this role is involved in to improve efficiency and product quality.

• Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external contacts including managers, vendor, consultants, and contractors.

• Convey goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listen effectively and clarify information as needed; interpret verbal and non-verbal messages that others communicate; produce clear status reports; communicate tactfully and candidly.

• Ensure that production status, issues and successes are communicated proactively to project team, stakeholders and documented appropriately.

• Motivate the team members to action.

• Ensure open communication within the team. Address delicate situations and handle conflicts in such a way as to maximize opportunity and minimize exposure to risk

• Pro-actively and consistently engage present and future stakeholders in design, development, priority setting, and implementation.

• Recognize that risk and issues directly impact the likelihood of success and that risk and issues must be both formally and informally measured, reported proactively throughout the lifetime of the production.

• To perform assigned responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

• May be required to work on once-off projects or ongoing project work as required or other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned from time to time

Prerequisites

Core Skills

? Strong experience in learning Projects and operations, Vendor Management. Previous experience working in an operation/reporting role

? Expert user of Microsoft Excel, VBA and Macros. Microsoft certification preferred.

? Experience in implementing procedures and service standards for business excellence

? Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

? Ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders across teams.

? Experience at working both independently and in a team - oriented, collaborative environment.

? Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

? Experience of training and coaching team will be an advantage

Qualification

? Bachelors or Master’s degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Commerce or Information Management

? 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
