Union Square Events is seeking

Drivers

to join the team!

A clean driving record is required for this position.

 

Warehouse Personnel (WP) are responsible for transporting and delivering supplies and materials to and from a location in a safe and efficient manner.  WP are responsible for load-in and load-out of all supplies and materials in relation to all deliveries and returns, not limited to events. They may also assist the Operations and Kitchen teams in pre and post packing and organizing of event materials as well as support in various projects.  WP must exemplify Enlightened Hospitality in all interactions with our staff, guests, vendors and the community.





Skills/Requirements
  • Clean driving record
  • Excellent street knowledge of NYC
  • Prior experience with safe and legal operation of a commercial and non-commercial motor vehicle
  • Prior experience in warehouse systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Team-oriented
  • Good Communicator: ability to understand & follow written and verbal instruction


Language:

  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish proficiency a plus


Physical Demands:

  • The ability to regularly reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crawl.  
  • Drive, navigate, maneuver and park large vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Repetitive hand or arm motions.
  • Lifting and/or moving at least 50 lbs; frequently lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs.  
  • Standing or walking for up to 12 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work early morning, late night, overnight, and weekends


Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus)
