Position Overview

 

Skillsoft is seeking a career minded professional to be instrumental in developing and delivering just-in-time training while being committed to operational excellence.

 

Position Responsibilities

 

Develop, plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive new hire sales, product, process training

 

Develop, plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive ongoing training to all sales staff

 

Assessment of training needs and solution development

 

Recognize learning opportunities and develop/deliver training to affect performance

 

Active participation in regular sales meetings

Education and Certifications

 

A proven track record in sales with demonstrated excellence in the areas of training, coaching, and development

 

University degree or the equivalent combination of other post-secondary education

 

Experience in managing customer relationships and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment

 

Knowledge of CRM software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office products

 

Formal understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling

 

A thorough understanding of the components of the sales cycle

 

Sales experience in e-learning or technology oriented field is considered an asset
