Join our team at Untitled, Studio Cafe, and the Whitney Museum as an 
EVENTS SUPERVISOR

Position ScopeThe Events Supervisor will work directly with the Catering and Events Coordinator to lead and manage all aspects of Union Square Hospitality Group's catering event operations at Untitled, Studio Cafe,  and The Whitney Museum. The candidate chosen for this role will act as the point of contact for clients, vendors, and USHG staff to ensure that all events run smoothly and efficiently. This position actively embodies, inspires, & elevates Union Square Hospitality Group's Family Values of Hospitality, Excellence, Entrepreneurial Spirit and Integrity.

Skills/Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of operations experience in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs (Including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience using restaurant POS systems
  • Exceptional time management & organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure or tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English are required (Spanish and French are a plus!)

Preferred Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or certification in hospitality or a hospitality-related field
  • TIPS certification
  • NYC Food Handling Certificate
  • CPR/1st Aid Certified
