Join our team at Untitled & Studio Cafe as an 
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Position Scope: Collaborating with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Chef de Cuisine, the Assistant General Manager will lead the entire team at Untitled and Studio Cafe at the Whitney Museum and manage all facets of the Front of House operations of the restaurant. The Assistant General Manager will continue to build a better brand with the best management and staff by constantly improving our food and service with a focus on our partners and guests while providing unparalleled hospitality. This position requires flexibility and a wide range of hospitality, service and business acumen. The Assistant General Manager actively embodies, inspires and teaches skills that will elevate the core values of Union Square Hospitality Group. Skills/Requirements
  • 5 + years of fine dining restaurant management experience
  • 5 years in a leadership position
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/oral/listening)
  • Excellent dining room operations knowledge
  • Have a professional knowledge and understanding of Department of Health (DOH) food safety standards
  • Strong understanding of fine dining food, reservations, service & beverage programs
  • Understanding of how operations can impact the cost of goods
  • Initiative & follow through
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Proficiency with restaurant POS systems
