Union Square Events is seeking a Packaging and Packing Supervisor to join the team!

The Packaging and Packing Supervisor at Union Square Events is responsible for overseeing the packaging and bagging team members and their daily execution of packing finished goods, in addition to pack-outs of completed orders and events. This Supervisor will actively maintain an organized work space and is responsible for the inventory of all finished items the packing team executes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be team oriented, and have the ability to manage themselves calmly and effectively under pressure.

• 1+ years of catering experience or relevant work
• Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
• Knowledge and understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Inventory
• Portioning

Certifications

• NYC Food Handler Certification (preferred)
