Job Description

Primary Function

·         Leading the growth in team, quality, reputation, and financial performance for learning content projects.

·         Lead/Create the vision for project execution and production excellence; follow through with the communication, processes and tactics to implement the vision

·         Must be a strong advocate for production and process efficiencies with ability to drive projects to execution

·         Ownership and Accountability for successful project outcomes with strong financial acumen

·         Manage Stakeholder expectations, delivering learner/user centric products. Provide support to internal and external stakeholder groups involved in content development

Responsibilities/Duties

 

·         Leads planning and/or implementation of projects. May participate in the planning, development and/or testing phases.

·         Facilitates the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision where necessary.

·         Responsible for leading the team of writers, graphics designers, AV Editors, Content QA and integrator.

·         Manages resource allocation, utilization, productivity and performance.

·         Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

·         Provides mentoring, coaching and direction setting to team members. Ensure project team training and development

·         Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete production activities for PSV/CCA, Compliance courses, business skills, and business tech courses.

·         Develop a schedule for tasks completion that effectively allocates and utilizes the resources to the activities.

·         Review the schedule with all other stakeholders that will be affected by the production activities; revise the schedule as required and track schedule effectively for execution.

·         Determine, track and report the objectives and measures upon which the deliverables will be evaluated at its completion.

·         Provide effective and usable solutions to production challenges and initiatives

·         Coach and guide team on process and production excellence

·         Identify recurring issues in the content produced by the project teams and take corrective and preventive measures.

·         May be required to work on once-off projects/initiatives or ongoing project work as required or other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned from time to time

 



Prerequisites

Core Skills

  • 12+ years of hands on progressive project management work experience in fast paced eLearning content development/ production organization in a similar role leading/managing global projects is essential for this role.
  • Prior experience in customer facing role and commercial management skills is essential
  • Results oriented, proven ability to reach and exceed goals / targets in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication (excellent written and verbal skills), influencing and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven skills in developing effective partnerships with key stakeholders and providing leadership support for driving change initiatives
  • Hands on experience with strong working knowledge of project management practices
  • Hands-on experience of leading eLearning projects using 2D, 3D assets, Motion graphics, Info graphics and Animations, videos.
  • Passion for learning and organisational development and new methods that will enhance learning

 

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is essential
  • MBA or Masters would be an advantage.
  • Project Management qualification will be an advantage
