About the Role:

SumTotal Systems is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Quality Assurance Engineer. The right candidate must be a team player that enjoys working with technical resources and project leaders as we test our enterprise software applications. This position requires the Quality Assurance Engineer to hit the ground running, use his or her ability to learn quickly, and work on disparate and overlapping tasks that are pivotal to SumTotal’s success.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review functional specification and identify test cases to create/update test case documents.
• Execute test cases, identify, evaluate, and report bugs with appropriate priority and severity.
• Automate the redundant test cases and work to improve the productivity.
• Identify the gap between the functional specifications and implementation.
• Understand the functionality of the entire product and provide recommendations for enhancements as necessary.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technically related degree.
• 0-2 of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance role
• Knowledge of SQL, Sahi Pro, JavaScript or similar technologies.
