Job Description

Danny Meyer’s Marta seeks a full time Sommelier to work with an all Italian and Champagne wine list.

Candidates should enjoy hospitality as much as they enjoy wine, have a passion for learning as well as teaching and enjoy being a part of a team. To apply, candidates are required to have previous experience working as a sommelier in a restaurant. We are specifically looking for sommeliers who are looking to eventually grow within the company while working in a very faced-paced service environment.

Marta is a lively Italian restaurant from Maialino's Chef Nick Anderer. Inspired by the rustic tradition of Roman pizzerie, local haunts that churn out thin, crackly-crusted pizzas. Marta is a Hospitality Included Restaurant.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

Continuously provide support to all service staff and actively participate in all parts of the cycle of service as needed.
