Job Description
Union Square Hospitality Group is looking for an 
 
A/P Clerk to join the team at Union Square Events! 
 
 
Job Responsibilities Include:
  •  Entering invoices in accounting software
  • Selecting invoices for payment weekly
  •  Reconciling month-end vendor statements
  •  Following up on outstanding invoices
  •  Maintaining the filing system to ensure AP files are organized and complete
  • Effective and efficient processing of all Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Maintaining responsible communication between management teams and controllers
  • Process of Expense Reports (generating cc statements & entering exp reports)
  • Maintaining the filing system of sales receipts in an organized manner 

 





Skills/Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • 1 year of Accounting, Finance or related experience (restaurant or related industry is preferred)
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from accredited university. 
  • An ability to produce accurate and timely work
  • An appropriate sense of urgency to get the job done
  • Excellent Verbal & Written Communication
     

The Ideal Candidate will have experience in:

  • Accounting
  • Bookkeeping
  • Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, PP)
  • MAS 200 knowledge a plus
