Union Square Events is seeking a

Concession Manager

to join our Venue Hospitality team!

 

The Concession Manager will assist in executing the successful daily operations of our various venue hospitality businesses. This position will train and lead hourly Team Members, while working to improve processes, build sales, and uphold cost controls while embodying a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.

 

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • 2+ years Operations Management/ Supervisor experience
  • NYC Culinary experience (preferred)/ DOH Certified
  • Proficiency in all roles needed for an event including but not limited to: Bussing, Passing Food, Table Service, Food Handling, Prep, Expediting, Bartending, and Co-Captaining
  • Strong understanding of concessions, bars, and cafe-style food, service & beverage programs
  • Excellent knowledge of facilities operations
  • Excellent communication oral & written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, organization & management skills
  • Proficiency in multiple POS platforms (Aloha, Micros, Positouch, Revel, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with Inventory Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of diverse cuisine and beverage trends
  • Ability to travel
