EMEA Marketing Executive

Reporting to the EMEA Marketing Director this role is responsible for managing demand generation, campaigns & events to create an overall lead gen and brand awareness strategy for both SumTotal & Skillsoft EMEA. Critical to this role is ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to and that the EMEA business is aligned to global objects and messaging.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Corporate and Regional management teams to establish objectives, benchmarks and priorities and communicate and report on key results, and ensures alignment across the entire sales and marketing organisation. Overall ownership of marketing programmes, from rollout to completion in close collaboration with NA marketing colleagues
  • Understanding needs of the sales teams, defining programmes and success measurements, ensuring alignment with regional and EMEA business objectives, and delivering execution of all aspects at regional level
  • Localising campaigns/programmes, tools, and resources to maximise effectiveness in local markets
  • Developing an integrated marketing plan that encompasses demand generation, digital programmes, campaigns and events supported by PR, content and social activities
  • Planning and rolling-out of all awareness and demand programmes, according to the centrally defined marketing mix to support the needs of sales
  • Tracking programme results, measuring programme success, reporting meaningful metrics that reflect true ROI and facilitate future marketing investment decisions
  • Responsible for lead processing, submission and tracking for regional programmes
  • Manage all internal and external events from start to finish, including communication, supplier management, measurement of programme effectiveness to improve ROI
  • Booking venues for events, negotiating fees and manage event budgets
  • Collaborate with various people on the marketing team to execute on an integrated promotional plan to drive registration to and engagement around both online and in-person events
  • Attend events and educate attendees on our product offerings and network with the community
  • Occasional business travel within the UK, EMEA, and US
  • Other responsibilities and key result areas will be assigned as required
