Experience – 8-12 Years
Skills :
· Experience with management and operational use of monitoring solutions and methodologies, including server and network performance, hardware, and web synthetics; application performance monitoring using solutions like - New Relic/Splunk/AppDynamics/Microsoft SCOM/Solarwinds Orion
· Advanced scripting skills to include, but not limited to: shell scripts and supporting program languages like Powershell/Javascript/VBScript/Python/ Selenium/Regular Expression
· Experience with data and trend analysis to identify areas of process improvement, technical deficiencies, capacity management, and areas of opportunity
· Understanding basic technology skills to include (but not limited to) : MS SQL/ MySQL/Jasper/Tomcat/JSON/Logging Practices/Redhat Linux/Microsoft Windows/ Firewalls/VPN/Load Balancers
· Experience with developing and enhancing operational procedures and new innovative solutions to address monitoring framework challenges
· Knowledge of ITIL change management and problem management best practices
· Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale
· Effectively communicate with leadership and teams
· Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent team collaboration skills
Role & Responsibilities:
· Serve in the role of technical subject matter expert, assisting in upholding best practices in monitoring solutions and methodologies
· Collaborate with the engineering team, application developers, infrastructure teams and Leadership to assess near and long-term goals
· Assist with improving the standards of the customer experience by providing metric visibility into applications performance
· Provide expertise to support groups that require performance and troubleshooting guidance
· Participate in design and documentation of monitoring related solutions
· Provide assistance in planning, engineering cost-effective computing environments, exploiting emerging technologies to provide compelling solutions within the monitoring space
· Participate in process development with Engineering, Professional Services and Customer Support.
