Do you have your pulse on the latest trends in business skills and leadership development? Do you have strong knowledge of both soft and hard skills learning content in business? If so, you might just be the person to join our Content Curation team.   

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for identifying, collating, categorizing and curating Skillsoft’s business and leadership content assets in order to facilitate the optimal presentation of those assets within Skillsoft’s learning environments.  With an ever-expanding library of business and leadership assets, we need a curator to curate all of our leadership and business skills content in order to perfect our users’ consumption of our learning content.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business skills and leadership and content curation teams to develop and iterate a business skills and leadership taxonomy and classification of content assets in those two areas.
  • Actively participate in global content management (metadata, tagging, and categorization) for business and leadership content assets.
  • Cooperate and participate in tool development & process definitions (e.g. work with engineers to scale the tagging CMS and classification engines)
  • Maintain an extensive and intimate knowledge of business and leadership topics and trends
  • Recommend real-time, quarter-by-quarter adjustments to product selection based on market and industry conditions
  • Analyze data generated from learning environments and provide recommendations to Product Management, Marketing, Planning and Editorial for improvements to content asset portfolio and/or learning environment.

 

Job Requirements

A university degree, preferably in business or library sciences.

  • Superior verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and team-oriented management
  • Experience using virtual collaboration tools and technologies (ie. Webex, SharePoint, etc.)
