Union Square Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced

Beverage Director 

to join the management team of North End Grill

 

The North End Grill Beverage Director will:

  • Embody, inspire, and teach our Family Values throughout the broad scope of this leadership role.
  • Ensure excellent direction in the standards and practices of the beverage program.
  • Develop, lead, and execute a beverage program that adds quality, value and enhances the guest experience while making financially sound decisions.
  • Provide ample and continuous beverage training, tasting and education for the North End Grill team.
  • Ensure high performance, creativity, brand promise and profitability while maintaining overall excellence & hospitality throughout each day’s specific service periods. 
  • Cultivate relationships with guests and continue to find ways to strengthen the North End Grill and USHG beverage community.
  • Ensure knowledge of and adherence to all applicable laws, policies and procedures associated with the beverage program.
  • Continuously build a high performance team that is inspired to actively participate in furthering their beverage knowledge

Skills/Requirements
  • 3+ years of previous beverage program management experience 
  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Proficient understand of mutil-faceted beverage programs and industry trends
  • Ability to lead, teach, and manage through our Family Values 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, chefs, and peers
  • Financial acumen to support beverage inventory management
  • Capable of making connections with guests to enhance their experience
