Position Overview

To succeed in the challenging journey we have set up multiple co-located teams across the globe and are embracing the Spotify agile framework, a Micro Services approach combined with the DevOps model. We have teams of engineers working full time on this new platform and are building another development squad in a new office in downtown Boston– and it’s only the beginning. You will have the chance to work with brilliant people and two of the best development and design firms in the US, Thoughtbot and Bocoup, in addition of working with cutting edge technology such as ReactJS, Redux, ES2015, Express and Docker.

We are looking for exceptional JavaScript developers to join our team and willing to learn new technology in this rapidly evolving world. Our JavaScript developers are building front end customer facing product features using cutting edge technology and process! You will work jointly with Back End Developers, Architect and DevOps to form a fully autonomous development squad and be in charge of one part of the product.

Position Responsibilities

• Apply leading-edge web development skills to develop user facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize user-facing features for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to build user-facing features
• Build prototypes and turn them into real production-quality features

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in web development – primarily on the front end using JavaScript, HTML5, and/or CSS3
• Strong skills in JavaScript and using an MVW framework (React, Angular, Meteor, etc)
• Experience with React and Redux or any modern JS framework (Ember, Angular, etc)
• Experience with automation tools such as Npm, Webpack, Grunt, Bower etc.
• Experience with code versioning tools, preferably Git (Github, Gitlab, etc) and the feature branch workflow
• Proficient building responsive cross browser UI’s and exposure to mobile development
• Experience of either SASS or LESS pre-processor
• Experience in UI Test frameworks (CasperJS, PhantomJS, Mocha, Jasmine, JEST, Selenium, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Demonstrated ability to ship code in production
• Passionate, curious and open to new ideas

Education and Certifications

BS Computer Science preferred
