Job Description

This position is responsible for working in coordination with our kitchen and wait staff to ensure a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, glassware as well as cooking utensils, pots, and pans.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Arrives to work in full dress guidelines, looking professional.
  • Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
  • Operates dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications.
  • Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
  • Removes all garbage
  • Sweeps and scrubs the floor.
  • Follow safety and sanitation policy at all times.
     




Skills/Requirements

Education/Training:

  • High School or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Hospitality Personality
  • Passionate about the total guest experience

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move throughout restaurant (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
