Skillsoft is a SaaS provider of on-demand web based training to over 5,000 customers and 13,000,000 users worldwide. You will work as part of our Hosting team to create and improve in-house applications and scripts used to manage hosted applications, servers, and network infrastructure devices.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications used to manage the Skillsoft hosting environment
• Analyze business requirements and design, document and implement solutions in accordance with the latest corporate security policies
• Independently research issues and generate innovative recommendations and/or solutions
• Troubleshoot applications in our testing and production environments and work with Hosting personnel as needed to resolve issues and deploy software updates

Job Requirements

• Experience developing web applications using modern programming languages and standards such as ASP.NET / C#, JavaScript or similar technologies
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures; specifically creating and consuming REST and SOAP services
• Experience writing scripts (such as Windows PowerShell scripts)
• Experience leveraging platform orchestration tool APIs
• SQL database programming experience
