Position Overview:
Skillsoft is currently seeking an Employee Relations Representative to support our US Sales organization. This position will be located in our Scottsdale, AZ office. Reporting to the HR Business Partner for US Sales, this key contributor will assist with the implementation and on-going support of employee relations, HR initiatives and policy interpretations. This role requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The ER Representative must be sensitive to employee goodwill, corporate goals and the business needs.
Position Responsibilities
Partner with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmental regulations
Provide HR guidance and administrative support for the US Sales organization:

Follow Skillsoft procedures to document employee changes, departures, and disciplinary actions

Coordinate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team to complete job requisitions for new or vacant positions throughout the US Sales organization

Conduct new hire orientation and coordinate collection of new hire documentation for employees based in the Scottsdale office

Process all termination paperwork; conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends

Assist with employee engagement initiatives including Scottsdale office activity planning and execution

Serve as contact for employee benefits-related questions and issues
Interact with and build relationships with managers and employees
As guided by Manager, ensure all legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to minimize exposure to liability
Assist with gathering information on potential employee relations issues, and team with HR Business Partner to create action plan
With guidance and proactive input from Manager: Coach, counsel and guide managers before the execution of employee actions
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services performed
Support training and development initiatives as needed
Other items as assigned by management

Education and Certifications
A Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2-3 years of Human Resources experience
