Job Description

Union Square Events is seeking a

Receiver

to join the team at the Conrad NY!

 

The Receiver is responsible for the daily receiving operations which includes the receipt of all banquet related deliveries, quality control and venue catering storage organization within the guidelines of NYC Department of Health and other state and national safety and sanitation standards set for receiving and food storage. Other responsibilities include maintaining all receiving and waste logs, assistance in inventory, receipt of invoices, and cleaning and organization of all food storage and paper goods storage areas for banquets. 





Skills/Requirements
1+ years of experience in receiving 
Working knowledge of food ingredients
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the kitchen, including food and beverage areas. 
Requires mobility, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. 
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. 
Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. 
Must be able to tolerate varying levels of stress, temperature, illumination, air quality and fatigue.
