The Jazz Standard is looking for a

Maitre d’

to join their team!

 

The Jazz Standard Maitre d’ works directly with the management team to ensure each service is well-planned and executed, delighting guests in order to create repeat business. This position actively embodies, inspires, & elevates USHG’s Family Values of Hospitality, Excellence, Entrepreneurial Spirit and Integrity. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in career development.  This is an opportunity for growth into management roles at the club for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operation of the front door
  • Maintain and respond to  general email inquiries
  • Manage comment card data
  • Create “Artist Talking Points” document for staff music knowledge
  • Assist in marketing initiatives and concierge outreach




Skills/Requirements

Requirements & Skills

  • Positive, upbeat energy
  • Bachelor’s degree in music or hospitality preferred but not required
  • 2+ years Maître d’ / Reception experience in a restaurant or music venue preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of ticketing platforms
  • Must be able to identify key players in the music industry
  • Strong multi-tasking skills required
  • Excellent written communication skills (samples may be requested)
