Job Description

Executive Chef Suzanne Cupps, located in the Whitney Museum of American Art's new Renzo Piano-designed building in the Meatpacking District. Light-filled and airy, adjacent to the High Line park and the Hudson River, Untitled is inspired by the seasons and the creative environment of the world-class museum that it calls home. Untitled is open for lunch, brunch, and dinner, with a ground floor entrance on Gansevoort Street


Responsibilities include:
 

  • Providing in depth knowledge for the guest as their guide to include but not limited to: Food, Beverage, and Neighborhood/Museum happenings.
  • Act as a leader for each service and as a mentor for the team.
  • Greeting the guests, captain the menu for the guest, entering orders, and having a host mentality for the guest.


Skills/Requirements:
 

  • Hold a working knowledge of all menus, menu descriptions, beverages, and table numbers
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong work ethic in order to keep up with high volume
  • Ability to mentally prioritize and stay organized during high volume
  • General Wine/Beer/Spirit Knowledge
  • Demonstrate mastery in all steps of service
  • Demonstrate proper professional decorum
