• Over 10 years of professional experience, 2 years as architect
• Hands on Experience in Architecting and designing Core JAVA, J2EE based applications
• Strong knowledge of OO concepts, design patterns and composite applications
• In depth knowledge on any one ORM frameworks Hibernate/iBatis, Spring, Web services
• Practical experience in working on JSP, Servlets, JSTL with good understanding of various MVC frameworks like Struts, JSF, XSL, XML and XSLT
• Practical experience in working on portlet engines like Liferay , Jetspeed
• Hands on experience in one of the Application Servers administration such as Websphere, Weblogic, JBOSS
• Hands on experience in one of the database engines such as Oracle, DB2 & MS SQL
• Sound knowledge of modeling tools
• Should be able to recommend architectural improvements and provide technical leadership during development
• Practical exposure to TDD process and performance driven application development
• Expert in Profiling, debugging and technical problem solving
• Experience with multi-threaded applications
• Good communication skills, keen to share knowledge and best practices
• Domain knowledge about banking is a plus
