Analytics & Sales Assistant Product Manager, Bucharest

The Group

The Misys Retail Product Management group is responsible for the functional design and specification of retail banking products and for putting together roadmaps and release schedules. Product Managers work together with customers, engineering, sales and professional services organizations to ensure that Misys products are brought to market in a timely fashion and that they meet the needs of our retail banking customers.

Analytics & Sales products are Misys’ CRM, customer analytics and single customer view products.

The Role

The role of the Analytics & Sales Assistant Product Manager is to work with the Retail Channels Director to manage the selection, integration, enhancement and GTM for these products.

Duties include:-

- Serve as primary product expert

- Evaluate 3rd party technologies and solutions for fit with Misys products

- Work with vendors and partners to discuss technical integration issues for Misys products

- Support marketing, sales and support through leading the development and maintenance of various technical marketing collateral including application notes, FAQs, product notes, user guides, field training presentations, online marketing content and demos.

- Develop in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses

- Provide technical input to detailed product requirements

- Review / provide feedback for engineering / QA deliverables

- Collaborate with Engineering and QA on software and test design and requirements

- Working with Engineering and QA, prioritize defects and determine how to address them

- Participate in product benchmarking exercises

- Provide input into business cases

The Technologies

Must have a high level understanding of a broad and diverse range of technologies including:

- Web 2.0, .Net, Java (JEE)

- SOA, REST and SOAP web services

- Message driven middleware

The Candidate

- Minimum of 6 years Banking experience – in a bank, software product company or IT services or consulting organisation, of which at least 3 years should be in a Marketing or Analytics role.

- Business analysis experience

- Wide knowledge of CRM systems and CRM processes in a banking environment.

- Wide knowledge of customer analysis systems and processes in a banking environment.

- Good team skills with a minimum of 3 years project team experience.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Enthusiastic, conscientious, and highly motivated.

- Strong presentation and skills.

- Commercially astute.

- Willingness to travel to other locations as required.

Advantageous skills

- Prior product management

- Prior architecture experience
