Tell us why Shake Shack should hire you as our Manager, Marketing & Communications. We're looking for an incredibly intelligent, passionate and resourceful individual from a food, hospitality or lifestyle brand.
You’ll join our marketing and communications team at Shake Shack. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage several projects at once.

The Manager, Marketing and Communications will focus on marketing, PR, digital, promotions,social media and events in select domestic and international markets.

 

Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Embrace and convey the Shake Shack brand voice and positioning through marketing and communications.
  • Support and collaborate on Shake Shack brand initiatives including digital, social media, databases, in-store, and any guest-facing communications.
  • Assist in the creative development of marketing, communications and advertising (i.e. brand campaigns, menus, collateral, signage, merchandise, and more).
  • Oversee Shake Shack’s brand entry into new and existing markets during pre-launch, openings, and beyond by working with domestic and international teams.
  • Manage and support marketing and communications strategies in international and assigned markets with localized programs, events and promotions.
  • Project manage multiple marketing and PR initiatives and communications with Operations and specific restaurant managers in select markets.
  • Write press releases, manage PR placements and handle media requests.
  • Assist and support Shack-wide social media initiatives.
  • Manage cause marketing, community and charity giving relationships in select markets.
  • Guide marketing projects that include Operations, IT, Training, Supply, Purchasing and Development teams that effect and require input from these departments.
  • Report to Director of Marketing and Communications  
  • Position is based in NYC Shake Shack home office.
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 3-5+ years of marketing experience in food, hospitality or lifestyle brand
  • Well-versed in marketing, PR, advertising, digital, social media and consumer insights
  • Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics
