Apply Now!  J&P Cycles is now accepting applications for seasonal Receivers, Pickers, Packers, and Runners.  New positions are scheduled to start at the beginning of the year.  Additional openings are scheduled to begin in February, March, and April.  Multiple positions and shifts are available. 

 As a seasonal team member in the Distribution Center you would be responsible for the following duties:

  • Reading production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage and other designated areas.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, and bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves. Conveying orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Marking materials with identifying information.
  • Openning bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weighing or counting items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arranging stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
  • Utilizing computer to look up records.
  • Retrieving and putting away parts from sales and showroom.
  • Stocking supplies for packaging group as needed throughout the shift.
  • Checking inbound product against J&P Purchase Order. Checking for correct parts and quantities.
  • Labeling of parts with J&P barcode.
  • Identifying missing/wrong/extra parts and bring to Receiving Supervisor.
  • Assisting in repack as required.
  • Performing general cleaning as needed


This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

No prior experience or training necessary. 


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
