The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a market expert, identifying important and pervasive market problems and turning them into potential business opportunities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Maintains overall accountability for our Analytics and Insights product line. This includes identifying important market problems to solve, developing business plans, defining product roadmaps, and product requirements.
Works cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders and strategic business partners to ensure that initiatives are well defined and successfully delivered.
Conducts technical and market research as needed including customer visits, focus groups, competitive analysis, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines.
Primary evangelist and business liaison to development, marketing, sales, and support
2 – 3 years of experience in product management, product development, business intelligence, or related healthcare informatics experience
Familiarity with Business Intelligence industry, vendors, and SaaS based solutions
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for report design, dashboards, visual data presentation, Big Data, and predictive analytics
General understanding of SQL, Data Warehouses, ETL processes, relational database concepts
Successful management of a product through the full product development life cycle
Working knowledge of Agile/ Scrum development process; Pragmatic Marketing Certification a plus
Strong analytical skills and command of statistics
Highly motivated, team oriented, and collaborative
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Software: MS Office, VersionOne, and Salesforce.com a plus
