Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our technology team. If you are passionate about ensuring web based software products are developed and released on-time and best-in-class, and have the presence and technical knowledge to work both with internal clients and the engineering/design staff; then this opportunity may be right for you.

The successful Product Manager will assume full responsibility of the execution of the company’s product releases as defined by the product strategy.  Working closely with the Product Marketing team, this role will define requirements for upcoming releases, work with engineering on the creation of those releases and then oversee the launch and integration of the releases into customer implementations.  The successful candidate will have a strong ability to operate quickly and effectively in a very collaborative environment and work closely with technical, business, operations and sales teams.


  • Develop a deep understanding of market needs, translating business needs into prioritized product requirements and own the product roadmap.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams made up of people from software development, QA, product management, services and UI Design teams to design and deliver high quality solutions through multiple releases.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Executives and Sales on product roadmap and strategy
  • Defining the product requirements, user experience, beta programs and launch requirements
  • Being an active team member in the development process (Agile or Waterfall) to ensure successful development cycles and error-free launches
  • Working closely with the Implementation Team on post-launch planning and training
  • Defining and analyze success metrics to ensure product acceptance and quality.
  • Holding overall responsibility for product quality, features, usability and performance
  • Provide regular status reports and updates to senior executives
  • Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience in Product Management, preferably in software / Internet-based applications
  • Experience with a geographically distributed development team.
  • Experience performing end-user interviews, leading requirements gathering sessions, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Expert ability in requirements gathering, use case definition, business planning, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, system design, testing implementation and change management
  • Experience Managing SaaS based products is a plus
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Past experience in digital / web development  concepts including one or more of the following: social/email communications, search engine optimization, content creation, mobile
  • Past experience in Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Web Trends, DoubleClick, etc) preferred
  • Proficiency in Social Media sites and tools
  • Experience gathering client feedback and turning into business requirements
  • Past experience in AGILE preferred
  • Proficiency in problem solving; a self-starter with excellent written/verbal communication skills, and strong client service philosophy
  • Experience in utilizing various marketing techniques (both traditional and web-based)
