TMP is the leader recruitment advertising industry in developing digital products that complement our position as a leading creative agency. This role will partner with the SVP of Product Marketing to take ownership of the vision set forth to define, deliver and enhance our entire product suite: which includes software for job search, apply, distribution, mobile, social, metrics, analytics and more.

While delivering on the Product Roadmap, the Director will possess domain expertise and be accountable for definition and delivery as conduit between product marketing and engineering and own communications to all stakeholders across the organization. TMP is seeking a proven leader who is passionate about user experience, customer satisfaction and able to manage a talented team of product managers.


  • Lead product development team in delivering enhancements to existing products and new product releases. This includes working with the Product Marketing team to understand priorities and client needs; and then executing the requirements gathering, functional specification writing, supporting the development process from initial kick-off through to post-launch support, communicating product launch impacts and results.
  • Integrate usability techniques and market analysis into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs.
  • Collaborate with numerous stakeholders (most notably customers, sales, product marketing and development) in defining a feasible product roadmap, which consists of a balance of new capabilities, enhancements to existing features, and defect fixes.
  • Manage enterprise software product portfolio definition, roadmap planning, feature funnel management, go to market strategies and tactics, schedule management, new feature analysis and alignment of product solutions to customer requirements.
  • Provide detailed guidance to engineering and QA resources, as well as functional and technical documentation to ensure the right product gets delivered with each release.
  • Understand  in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning provided by Product Marketing team.
  • Hire, train and mentor an industry leading team of product managers with skills to define and deliver the best products in the marketplace
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the digital landscape
  • Partner with Product Marketing to support all training and materials needed to effectively sell and implement the product suite

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development, SDLC, and Business Analysis practices. Experience managing simultaneous projects and demonstrated team leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with often competing objectives
  • Hands-on experience with transitioning development methods (agile/scrum, waterfall, etc)
  • Solid understanding of user interface/usability best practices
  • Ability to work and manage in a fast-paced, customer driven, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with complex technical concepts and enterprise software
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to solve problems and balance technical and business issues and competing priorities
  • Strong technical, analytical, and project management background
  • Proven ability to communicate (formally and informally) effectively with technical teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical thinking and hands on approach to problem solving
  • Expertise in creating data insights to drive decision making process


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10 years of experience in technology with hands on record of leading cross-functional teams in a product development or web development atmosphere
  • At least 5 years experience managing teams of 8 people or more
  • Expertise in using analytics to justify product decisions, proficient in online marketing, search engine optimization, customer engagement and retention, social media,  mobile apps and web
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, wireframing software, and analytics tools (Omniture, Google analytics, etc.)
  • Additional courses in areas such as SDLC, Business Analysis, Project Management or other related continuing education.
