We are searching for an exceptional Copywriter to join our team within our Direct & Digital Practice Area of G2 USA!

The primary responsibility of the Copywriter include assisting the creative team in developing long-form copy for multi-channel direct response/relationship marketing campaigns. This includes concept development, copy preparation, knowledge of client specific regulatory/disclaimer copy and affinity partner sensitivities. The writer is also responsible for the review of all materials through final approval and release.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop full copy for a range of marketing materials, predominantly direct mail but also collateral, print ads and other channels as necessary
  • Communicate daily status of all deliverables to supervisor
  • Ensure creative campaign ideas are on strategy and meet communications
  • Participate in and oversee aspects of final production of creative projects to which he/she is assigned
  • Work collaboratively with art director, account managers, project managers/traffic, and production
  • Incorporate client feedback, as appropriate
  • Participate in making internal presentations 




Skills/Requirements
The ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years agency experience
  • Business-to-business and consumer experience in direct mail, print and collateral (financial services, insurance, telecommunications preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the mechanics of writing: punctuation, grammar, spelling, structure and organization/outline
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to articulate thoughts clearly
  • The imagination to create copy that will interest consumers and generate the desired action with regard to the product or service
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to multi-task in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Team player
