This associate district manager position is responsible for managing a maurices store and overseeing 3 - 4 stores around the market.  The asscoiate district manager is responsibile for acheiving sales and profit goals in the district through:

• Leading their team in customer obsession;
• Maintaining standards and driving business;
• Succession planning for future people needs and builingstrong teams;
• Coaching for results and ensuring an enriching workplace;

Managing self and using time and resources appropriately

Specific skills and requirements include:

• Management experience in a retail environment; multi-store experience preferred;
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written;
• Coaching and counseling abilities;
• Goal and result orientation;
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize;
• Strong judment/decision making skills.
• Moderate travel required.
• Must be willing to relocate.
