Position Description:
The Women’s Services Surgery Tech performs duties associated with patient care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Patient care duties are performed in a safe and proficient manner in accordance with individual patient needs, incorporating age-related factors. The Women’s Services Surgery Tech acts as a patient advocate within the hospital environment and accepts assignments on other units within the Women’s Center as necessary. Ability to set up sterile supplies for stat Cesarean Sections and Vaginal Births. Cleaning of instrumentation utilized in OB surgery.
